Official Announcement: CGF is Now Officially Recognized

We are proud to announce that the Cambodia Go Federation (CGF) has been officially registered and approved by the Cambodian government.

This marks a historic milestone for the development of Go (Weiqi) in Cambodia, laying the foundation for national education programs, international collaboration, and the long-term vision of establishing Cambodia as a leading Go nation in Southeast Asia.

With official recognition now in place, CGF will begin launching its initiatives, including:

• Introducing Go into Cambodian schools

• Training teachers and building school Go teams

• Hosting national tournaments and ranking events

• Connecting Cambodia to the global Go community
